Flinga - FAQ

Does the student or participant need to log in to Flinga or enter a password to work on a Flinga wall?
No need to log in. Only the person who creates the Flinga wall or whiteboard will log in to Flinga.

The participant can start working in Flinga in three alternative ways:
A) teacher can add a link to Flinga  in advance, also to Moodle course area or write it in Zoom-chat
B) teacher can display the QR code or at the beginning of the lecture
C) teacher can tell the key code and participant can access the right wall in the main page edu.flinga.fi and Join a session.

I created a Flinga wall, but a Flinga board would be better for that purpose. Can I still change it?
You can't change the type of Flinga, Wall or Whiteboard, afterwards, so before creating Flinga, think about which one works best for you.

When Flinga is ready, can I block editing afterwards?
Yes you can block and you can do it easily. First, click the three lines button in the upper left corner to access the settings. Under Session Rules, click the last green check mark button. Participants will no longer be able to add new posts or edit. You can always change the session rules if necessary, for example if you continue working here later.
