Moodle is the primary learning environment in University of Jyväskylä and supported by Digital services of the university. Moodle can be used to support teaching and learning or online courses.

Moodle is open source platform that is used and developed to work with other systems used in the university. The platform enables different kinds of courses and automatic checks for assignments, feedback and plagiarism detection. The environment has been branded to colors of the university and usability has been enhanced with fixed theme. Moodle is being updated frequently to reply to the needs for learning.
