NOTE: On Linux workstations and servers, returns must be requested from the administrator. In this case, contact customer service of digital services.
Local disks on the workstation, such as drive C, are not covered by automatic backup. Avoid saving important files to the workstation disk (C: \ MyTemp or D: \).
If you accidentally delete a file on your workstation disk and it is not found in the Recycle Bin, it will no longer be recoverable.
Save your personal files on the network drive to the U: \ drive or the OneDrive directory, and the files shared by staff in the facility folder on the S: \ drive. When saving to OneDrive, consider the privacy classification of the files.
If you have deleted a file from your network drive, you can restore it yourself. In the same way, you can restore an earlier version of your work file.
If the file cannot be found using the instructions below (if it is more than two weeks after deleting it), please contact customer service of digital services.
Note! It has been detected that the following function does not work in the same way as the display language of Windows 10, so if you try to recover a file that takes more than an hour or two to destroy,
change the display language to English during the procedure.
Start Windows Explorer, right-click the folder where the deleted file was located, and then click Properties.
Click the Previous Versions tab.
Select the desired time from the list and Open.
this will open a new Windows Explorer window where you can restore the desired files back by copying and pasting (Edit> Copy - Edit> Paste) them to the current location.
Similarly, you can also restore a destroyed folder with its contents.
