How to install Outlook application to Android smartphone (Samsung)

 

Installing Outlook application

1. Sweep up the display

 

2. Choose "Work" profile

 

3. Open work profile Play-store 

 

3. Choose Microsoft Outlook

 

4. Install Outlook by tapping "Install" 

 

Once the application is installed, you can find it on your work profile

 

Setting up Outlook email

1. Open Outlook by tapping Outlook icon

 

2. the first time you open Outlook, a welcome screen will be opened. Please Tap "ADD ACCOUNT"

 

3. Now Outlook will find your existing account at the form  firstname.x.lastname@jyu.fi

    Tap the box in order to choose existing account

 

4. At the bottom of the screen, tap "Continue" (A blue box), Once the account is selected.

 

5. Now you will be redirected to Office365 password portal, Please type in your JYU password and tap "Sign In"

 

6. If you've got multifactor authentication configured, an approval is being asked now. Please accept the sign in using Microsoft Authenticator application.

 

7. Outlook is now ready to be used.

Now you may add another account that you read using Outlook application, or start using Outlook by tapping "MAYBE LATER"
