Removing a section

If you want to remove extra/unnecessary sections from your course in your Moodle course turn first Editing on from the up right corner, click the Edit menu three dots next to the section title and select Delete. Refresh the page after this, for example by pressing the F5 key.




NOTE! You cannot delete the first "General" tab. However, you can name it differently, just like any other tab.

Hiding a section in 

1. When you want to make a section invisible to students, you can hide the section.
   
2. First, go to the section you want to hide.
3. After that, click the Edit menu three dots on the right side of the tab page title and select on course from the drop-down menu that opens  Availability > Hide on course space.
   
   
   
   
   
4. Now the section is hidden and not visible to students.
   
   
5. If you want to make the section visible again, do the same as in hiding but select Availability > Show on course page from the drop-down menu.
   
   
   

 

Deleting and hiding a tabs with the Onetopic course format happens similar way.
