Visitors can only get a user ID at the request of the staff. We don't do automatically a user ID. If you need user ID to short-term, as a member of staff you can order for visitors:
For long time visitors and visitors who need more rights than access to the workstation or access to the wireless guest network, a standard user ID is created.
Invite visitors to register with their Online Banking ID or Mobile ID at sso.jyu.fi or account.jyu.fi from the "Register" section at the bottom of the page. If you find they need more rights, please contact the HelpJYU Service Desk: HelpJYU portal.
If visitor can't do idenfication with Online Banking ID or Mobile ID, please contact the HelpJYU Service Desk: HelpJYU portal or you can call our number: +358142603600.
If someone asked to fill in a paper licence application form. The licence application must be completed, signed and delivered to the contact person at the university or directly to the head of department.
If you are a former student and want to activate your username, you can re-register at: https://account.jyu.fi/register/ You will automatically receive a one-year visitor status for your username.
