Getting a username -students and postgraduate students


You should activate your user account before the start of your studies, or at the latest at the beginning of the semester. You will need your username right from the start of your studies.

IT Services strongly recommends that you activate your account using your online banking credentials!

For security reasons, usernames/passwords will not be sent by email or phone. There are several ways to retrieve a password:

Please fill in the missing information and correct the address details if they have changed. You can also make changes later in OMA-services.

You can choose your username one of the options in the drop-down menu. Password must be at least 20 characters long. It is recommended to use passphrases. What is a good password guide. 

Be sure to accept the Terms of Use and click on the Register button. You can use your user ID to log in to the OMA service, where you can e.g. choose your student email address format. Recommended to be done right away. The OMA service instructions can be found here.

When you register before the start of your studies, your status is visitor. Your account will not have student rights until the start of the semester. If you activate services before the start of the semester, please check at the beginning of the semester that the services are still valid. Services activated for a visitor relationship expire at the end of the visitor relationship and student relationship services must be activated separately.
