The maturity process in eExam
When the maturity examination is completed as an eExam, its language can also be evaluated via the eExam system. The process is as follows:
The eExam process for the maturity examination
- The student contacts the examiner, indicating that s/he would like to take the maturity exam as an eExam.
- The examiner creates a maturity test for the student in eExam (instructions for creating a maturity test).
- When the exam has been created, the student receives an e-mail from eExam telling that the maturity test has been created.
- The student registers for the exam and completes it in the eExam room.
- The examiner receives a notification from eExam that the student has taken the exam and evaluates the content of the maturity test.
- If the content is accepted, the examiner writes in the Feedback field ‘content ok’ and the date, chooses Accepted from the drop-down menu and sends the maturity to language evaluation.
- The language evaluator checks the language and marks pass or fail.
- This locks the assessment and the examiner receives an e-mail that the language evaluation is done. The student receives a message that the assessment is ready.
- The examiner or the maturity contact person enters the grade in the study register.
- If the content is rejected, the examiner marks the grade as rejeced and clicks ‘Reject maturity test’. The test is not sent to the language evaluation.
- If language evaluation is not needed
- The examiner marks the grade as pass and clicks Lock the assessment.
- The examiner or the maturity contact person enters the grade in the study record.
