Open BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) exam:

To register for an open BYOD e-exam, follow these steps:

1. Log in to EXAM and search for the exam you want to register for.

2. Select a suitable exam session from the available options by clicking the green "Select/Valitse" button.

3. You will receive a confirmation email regarding your reservation.

4. Just like a regular exam, you can cancel your registration for the exam session or change your reservation if alternative exam sessions are available.

 

Restricted BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) exam:

 

To register for a restricted BYOD exam, follow these steps:

1. Log in to EXAM and search for the exam you want to register for.

2. Choose a suitable exam session from the available options.

3. You will receive a confirmation email for your registration, which will include a startup file as an attachment. Do not delete this email!

4. The startup file is required to launch the exam during the exam session. You can download the file from the "Registrations/Varaukset" section in EXAM before the exam begins.

5. Just like a regular exam, you can cancel your registration for the exam session or change your reservation if alternative exam sessions are available.

6. If you change your reservation, you will receive a new confirmation email with a new SEB (Safe Exam Browser) startup file attached.
