University of Jyväskylä has three wireless networks:

• jyu-student for student use on JYU campus
• jyu-staff for staff use on JYU campus
• eduroam for students and staff on JYU campus and around the world on different campuses. Read more: What is Eduroam and how do I use Eduroam?

NOTE! On JYU campus always primarily use jyu-student or jyu-staff network!

How to connecto to WiFi

Click the network icon on the bottom right corner of the screen and ensure that that WiFi is turned on. Choose the WLAN you want to connect to. In this example we are connecting to the jyu-staff network:

After selecting the network, type your JYU username and password and click OK:

After putting in your username and password, accept the security settings by clicking Connect.

The computer will let you know when the wireless network has been successfully connected.
