What should I do in exceptional circumstances during an EXAM exam?
- If an unexpected problem occurs in the EXAM exam room during the exam, such as a power outage or a problem with the system, wait a moment for the problem to be fixed. You will be able to log back into the system and continue the exam as long as there is time left.
- If the problem persists until the exam time ends, EXAM will automatically return your answers for evaluation in the form they were in when the problem began. In such a situation, you should contact the examiner and explain the situation. The examiner may grade the incomplete answer or reject the exam, in which case you can book a new exam time.
- If your exam computer freezes right from the start, you should restart it (press the power button for several seconds to turn it off, then turn it back on).
- If you are unable to start your exam due to a technical fault, you can re-register for the exam as soon as your current exam has ended (i.e., you do not need to wait for the examiner to reject your exam). In such cases, however, you should first contact the examiner and explain the situation.
- If necessary, you can report any problems that arise during the exam to the janitors. If you receive an error message, it is essential information for solving the problem.
