You can choose which email application to use. 

On a work profile Gmail application is installed by default.

 

On work profile play-store you may also install Samsung Mail or Outlook by Microsoft. At the moment Gmail and Samsung mail support full synchronization of calendar and addressbook. So if you've been using Samsung mail previously, you may continue using the same application. 

 

The work profile can be found like this: 

Swipe up the display and at the lower part of display are "personal" and "work" texts. Tap text "work". 

 

Setting up Samsung mail:  

1. change to work profile -> tap "Play Store" -> Tap "Samsung Email" -> Tap "Install" (green box)
2. Open Samsung Mail application and at first you've being asked to add an account, please choose "Office365"
3. Type in your username: your-username-here@jyu.fi
4. On a login page, type in university password and tap "log in"
5. Approve following questions 
6. Tap "Ready"

Now the email client is in use. Addressbook can be accessed by contacts application and the calendar synchronized to your calendar application installed on work profile.

Once you start the applications question notifications will appear. Please answer yes to all the questions. 

 

Gmail application setup:  

1. change to work profile -> Tap Gmail application and tap "Ok".
2. Tap accept and continue
3. Log in using university password, the username is already on its right form username@jyu.fi
4. Now the setup is completed. Tap "Ready" and the Gmail application will open. 

 

Now the email client is in use. Addressbook and calendar applications will see your exchange addressbook and calendar. If any questions are being asked, please answer yes.
