Smartphone operating system is automatically updated on new Samsung smartphones, and on those that has work and personal profiles (android for work). 

The update will take place between 20-06. The update might be downloaded during the daytime, but the installation will happen on random point of time between 20-06. 

This will ensure that the devices are up to date. 

 

To be successful, the update requires that the device's battery charge level is sufficient and this varies by model. If you want to ensure that the update will be installed, connect the phone device to the charger overnight.

 

How to update Android smartphone operating system or check if it is being updated

1. Swipe up the screen

2. Choose "Settings"

3. Choose "Software Update"

4. Choose "Download and Install"

5. If your phone is up to date, you may return to home screen

6. If there are available updates, please tap "Install now" and follow the on-screen instructions
