How do I share an Office365 document?


Click the Share button in the top right-hand corner. There are two ways to share:

 

The picture shows the OneDrive Online version. Select the file you want to share. You can then press the "Share" button either next to the file name or in the toolbar at the top.

Once you have pressed the "Share" button, the form will open. There you can select who you want to share the file with, choose the rights of the persons and type the message that will be sent to Outlook.

 

It is also possible to share a folder. If you have a lot of documents to share and edit together, you should create a folder in OneDrive and share it with others!

1. Click the New button and select Folder, in OneDrive

The picture shows the online version of OneDrive. "+New" and "Folder" are selected at the top of the page.

2. Give the folder a name and click the Create button.

The "Create New Folder" form will appear after you click on New-->Folder. You can enter a name for the folder in the empty text field.

3. Select a folder and click the Share- button.

The picture shows us in OneDrive. Click on the folder you want to share. You can share it by clicking the "Share" button on the top toolbar or the "Share" button next to the folder name.

4. Configure the sharing settings.

The form that opens after you click on the "Share" button. On the form, enter the people you want to share the folder with, the settings and the message.

5. Finally, click on the "Send" button.
