During 2023, the Google Mail e-mail service provided by the university for all students will be gradually replaced by Microsoft cloud email service. You will be informed about the transfer via email in more detail once the transfer dates are decided. Until the email is transferred, you can use Google Mail service and you can find Google Mail instructions on the support site for Isa mail and related applications

Why are we going through this email transition?

With the change, also the student email will be part of the Microsoft 365 service catalogue, which is widely used in studies already. With the change, the university aims to offer its students even better tools to support their studies. Microsoft's cloud email is in the same environment as the university staff email.

The transition will also improve students' data security, since logging into the cloud email will require Multifactor authentication (MFA) when Microsoft's MFA becomes mandatory.
