How to make calendar entries

Instructions for making calendar entries in the Outlook calendar.

New calendar entry= "New Event"

While in Outlook Calendar, you can create a new calendar entry by pressing the "New event" button on the left side of the top bar, depending on the device, application and language you are using. From this button, you create a calendar entry for yourself, which can be an event or appointment, or a time you set aside for reading emails or taking a lunch break.

In addition to the button in the top bar, you can also create a new entry by double-clicking on a day or time in the calendar, or by painting a time interval. When creating a new entry, the calendar will prompt you for the subject, location, duration or "start" and "end" times for the entry, as well as a description or note, if any. None of these, apart from the time period, is actually mandatory information to fill in, but at least a subject or title is a good thing to put on the calendar entry.

Once you have filled in the information you want, press "Save" if you are in a new window after creating an entry, or press enter if you have created an entry by painting on the calendar.
