Computer labs for students


There are public computers available for student use around campus.

You can also find the computer labs and free computers on https://navi.jyu.fi/ . Click the screen icon on top to view free computers.

You can log into a university computer using your JYU user account and password.

Library Lähde (B building): There are open study halls with computers in every floor. The halls include BP47 (lower ground floor), BYP38.2 - BYP38.3 (upper ground floor), B226 (2nd floor) and B325 (3rd floor). In addition there are two computer labs in the building. The lab computers are available for use when there are ongoing lectures: B239 (Särmiö) and B249 (Suure).

Department computer labs

Some departments have their own computer labs for the students of these departments with specific software installed. Accessing these labs might require special permits. This way the students who need certain software can access the computers for their studies.
