How to reset multifactor authentication

Multi-factor authentication can sometimes stop working, for example when you change your phone. In this case, multi-factor authentication needs to be reset and re-enabled.

  1. You can reset multi-factor authentication yourself using your bank credentials in OMA as follows: Go to https://account.jyu.fi and click on "Reset multi-factor authentication" at the bottom left of the login window.
    OMA-service login page
  2. Click on the "Continue to authentication" button. Make sure you have your bank details nearby.
    go to netbank authentication
  3. Choose the authentication service you use, e.g. your mobile account or your bank, and authenticate with the service you choose. After authentication, you will be redirected back to the OMA service.
