Transferring files to Nextcloud is slower due to the protocol used (HTTP) compared to traditional network drives. Exporting large file masses from the university U: and S: network drives to Nextcloud can therefore take a significant amount of time.

When you want to transfer large file masses from U: or S: network drives to Nextcloud, submit an informal request to Digital Services (IT Services) via the general IT contact form.

Just use the form to tell us that you have large amounts of data on your network drive that you wish to transfer to Nextcloud. In this case, Digital Services will quickly make the transfer for you.
