REDCap is a versatile browser-based software for creating and conducting online surveys and any type of electronic data capture using forms. It was developed at Vanderbilt University, originally for researchers collecting clinical data. REDCap can be used to conduct surveys and compile databases. The program is suitable for collecting sensitive data and personal data on specific groups.
REDCap is available by request for all students and researchers at the University of Jyväskylä. It is accessed from browser link that is shared when registering as a user (see account setup and login instructions).
The Open Science Centre acts as the product owner of JYU REDCap.
