Logging in to Eduhouse

• You can find the service in: https://app.eduhouse.fi/palvelu/kirjaudu/microsoft
• From top right corner you can change the language of the user interface.
• Select "Log In".
• Click the "Office 365" button in the left section of the page. Log in with your JYU account by using form account@jyu.fi. NOTE! Students also use the @jyu.fi format instead of @student.jyu.fi.

If you cannot get in to the service, check that you have activated Microsoft Office 365 cloud services by logging in to account.jyu.fi and checking the "Microsoft Office 365 cloud services" selection from "Services"-tab.

NOTE! Handling of personal data and course activity information

Eduhouse  handles login data (account + password) during logging in to the service. You can view your own data from your account settings when you are logged in to the service. According to the agreement between JYU and Eduhouse, Eduhouse sends reports of users' course activity and login information to JYU. Information on the reports are used only to monitor the usage of the service.

You may find English contents more easily if you select from the Home-screen's search bar "Language" -> "English".

Eduhouse is free to use to both the staff and the students of JYU.

 

Scheduled Online Trainings for JYU staff

NOTE! Scheduled online trainings are available for free for ONLY THE MEMBERS OF THE JYU STAFF. So these are not for the students and in cases of abuse of the trainings, Eduhouse may bill the full price of the training from a student!

For the JYU staff, Eduhouse offers a full attendace in the scheduled online trainings for free. Online trainings are live events that cover mostly Office 365 subjects, but also other topics. Eduhouse also gives trainings at various locations, but only the online ones are free for JYU staff. Online trainings are held via Microsoft Teams or Skype. You receive a link to the training after signing up to the training.

Attending online trainings:

1. Go to Scheduled online trainings list: https://trainings.eduhouse.fi/en/
2. Find an online training you want to attend to
3. Press the name of the training or "SIGN UP"
4. Select the date and time of the training you want to attend to
5. Press "SIGN UP"
6. Give the asked billing details on the left hand side: first name, last name, phone (used to give information if the training is cancelled in the last minute) and email (USE YOU @JYU.FI EMAIL ADDRESS!)
7. IMPORTANT! Makse sure "Contract and license customer" from "YOUR ORDER" box on the right hand side is selected to make the total cost of the cart 0€. If you forget to tick the box, you may still attend the training for free, since Eduhouse recognizes you as a JYU member from you @jyu.fi -mail.
8. You receive a confirmation to your email
9. Attend the online training at given time

Eduhouse is presenting introductions of Eduhouse learning platform and training other topics in live events. Upcoming live events are listed in staff training calendar (filtering with 'Eduhouse').
