In this guide, we'll show you step-by-step how to activate your Microsoft 365 services through the OMA- service. Microsoft 365 offers a wide range of tools for learning and collaboration, including Word Online, OneDrive, Teams and many other applications. Activation is quick and easy and gives you access to the many Microsoft 365 benefits.

NOTE! Open University students will have access to Microsoft 365 services at the beginning of the autumn semester 2025.

Activation of Microsoft 365 services

1. Go to the OMA- service in your browser at: account.jyu.fi

2. Log in with your university account.

3. Go to the "Services" tab.

4. Activate "Microsoft Office 365 Cloud Services" by ticking the box and clicking "Save" at the bottom of the page.

5. You can then log in to the Microsoft 365 Copilot portal at: office365.jyu.fi, office.com, microsoft365.com

Sign in using your Microsoft account which is username@jyu.fi
