On a university-managed Mac computer, you can install the uniFLOW Smart Client application and the Cloud Printing printer driver from Managed Software Center.
On a personal Mac computer, you can install the uniFLOW Smart Client application and the Cloud Printing printer driver from the uniFLOW Online management portal by following the instructions below.
Open the uniFLOW Online management portal: https://jyvuni.eu.uniflowonline.com/
Log in using your university Microsoft account, which is in the format username@jyu.fi
1. Go to the “Start printing” tab and select the Mac driver:
2. Download the driver to your computer. The download may take a moment, depending on your internet speed.
3. An installation file called “SmartClientMac” will appear on your desktop. Open the installation program.
4. Run the installation program.
5. When prompted by the program, confirm the installation using your computer's password or fingerprint.
6. Once you have completed the installation process, use Finder to locate the “uniFLOW SmartClient” application. Open the application and log in with your university Microsoft account, which is in the format username@jyu.fi.
7. Once you've logged in to uniFLOW SmartClient, you'll see the printer listed as “Cloud Printing” when you print a document.
