On a university-managed Windows computer, you can install the uniFLOW Smart Client application and the Cloud Printing printer driver from Software Center.
On a personal Windows computer, you can install the uniFLOW Smart Client application and the Cloud Printing printer driver from the uniFLOW Online management portal by following the instructions below.
Open the uniFLOW Online management portal: https://jyvuni.eu.uniflowonline.com/
1. Go to the “Start printing” tab and select the Windows driver:
On Intel- and AMD-based Windows computers, the correct choice is the x64 driver. The ARM64 driver is only needed for Windows devices equipped with an ARM processor.
If you're not sure which one your computer has, check as follows:
- Open Windows Settings.
- Select System → About.
- Check the “System type” section.
- If it says “x64-based processor,” install the Windows x64 driver.
- If it says “ARM-based processor,” install the Windows ARM64 driver.
2. Download the driver to your computer. The download may take a moment, depending on your internet speed.
3. Run the installation program. The installation will proceed automatically:
4. Once the installation is complete, select “Yes” to restart your computer.
5. Once the computer has restarted, uniFLOW SmartClient will prompt you to log in to the service. Log in using your university Microsoft account, which is in the format username@jyu.fi. The driver is now installed.
6. Once you've logged in to uniFLOW SmartClient, you'll see the printer listed as “Cloud Printing” when you print a document.
