Instructions for making an eEXAM visit in University of Jyväskylä:

  1. You register and book a time for your exam in your own university's EXAM using your own university's user id and password.

  2. Access to other web sources is blocked and the exam PCs in JYU have only these programs available:
Windows calculator, Notepad, Adobe Reader, OneNote, Paint, 7Zip, UMLet, SPSS, R, R-studio, MS Word (no proofreading) and MS Excel. If other software is needed in your exam then you can't take it in the JYU exam rooms.

  3. EXAM visit is possible in both exam rooms: Agora AgC221 in Mattilanniemi campus and Lähde T 131 in Seminaarinmäki campus. Check navi.jyu.fi to find your way.

  4. You don't need a keycard to the exam room, the room door has an electronic lock that is open for 25 minutes on each even hour. Make sure you arrive in time to get in to the exam room.

  5. The PCs are logged in automatically and you only need to log in to EXAM with your own university's user id and password.

  6. The exam rooms are monitored with recording video and sound surveillance. When you book a time in the JYU exam room, you consent to the JYU exam guidelines and the joint use of the video surveillance and eExam system information to verify students’ identity.

  7. You are allowed to take with you to the eExam room only your id (e.g. student card) and any necessary medication. Any extra belongings have to be left in the lockers available in the corridor or lobby.

  8. Students can request reasonable accommodations for the exam from their home university. Arrangements are agreed on a case-by-case basis between the home and host universities.
