University-maintained computers receive a new license code from centralized software management. If the SPSS license on a university-maintained computer has expired, request IT help through the HelpJYU page. It is advisable to log in to the page before making a request.
For home computers: Get the latest license code from the page

First, read the License.txt file and select the license code corresponding to the version of the software you have installed. If the version you have installed is older than the available license codes, download and install the new version of the software.
Once you have copied the license code corresponding to your software version
- launch SPSS
- File > Manage License
- [Launch License Wizard], [Next>]
- (o) Authorized user license, [Next>]
- Paste the license code you copied into Enter Code: -field, [Add], [Next>], [Next>], [Finish], [Restart]
Now the software has been updated.
