Google Scholar is a free search service for finding scientific publications. It covers a wide range of disciplines and sources, including articles, dissertations, books and abstracts.
You cannot log in to Google Scholar with the University of Jyväskylä's Google account (for staff: username@jyu.fi, for students: username@student.jyu.fi). However, you can link the university email to a personal Google Scholar account.
You need a personal Google account. If you don't have a Google Account yet, you can find instructions for creating a Google Account on the Google website.
1. Log in with your personal Google account to the Google Scholar website: https://scholar.google.com/
1. Click on "My Profile" at the top left of the page.
2. Put the university email in the "Confirmation email" field. Fill in the other fields.
3. Search for your published articles by name.
4. Once you have selected your article and set up your profile, you can publish your profile on Google Scholar. You will receive a verification message in your university email to verify your email address in Google Scholar. Go to the verification email. Now your account is set up in Google Scholar.
